Anise Cake

Eloda Berkin

3/4 cup oil
1-1/3 white sugar
3 eggs

Beat until fluffy.

Add:
1/2 tsp. anise extract or 1/4 tsp. liquid anise
1 tsp. lemon extract
2-1/2 cup flour
1 cup milk
4 tsp. baking powder

Mix well and bake in angel food cake pan, (10 inch size). Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Ice cake with vanilla icing.
